We do receive requests from community initiatives, schools, hospitals and charitable events, and we look at them seriously. What we do not have is a standing programme with a fixed budget, so each request is decided on its own merits and against the workload of that particular season.
The most helpful thing you can send is detail: who is organising the event, what it is for, the date and venue, how many people are expected, and specifically what kind of support would make a difference. A defined request is far easier to say yes to than a general appeal.
In practice, help usually takes the form of decor for the event itself rather than a cash contribution, because materials, a team and installation are what we actually have to offer. Requests around busy periods such as National Day or graduation season are harder to accommodate, so earlier notice genuinely improves the odds.
- Requests from schools, community groups and charitable events considered
- Each case decided individually; there is no fixed annual programme
- Include the organiser, purpose, date, venue and expected attendance
- Support is normally decor and installation rather than a cash donation
- Early notice helps, especially outside the busiest seasons
Write to the team through the contact page with the details.
